I love these kids! We met through a mutual friend years ago and have shared food at many BBQs in the beach area. These are the people that you say ‘They are meant for each other.’ When I found out they were getting married at Pala Mesa, I affirmed their decision as Pala is a beautiful venue. I especially love the ceremony at the base of a hill and the bell tower. When the B&G ring the bell when they get married, I get really excited! I about died laughing when Tovin took my wireless mic and recited Biggie’s “Hypnotize,” while standing in the middle of the dance floor.

I know Grant through my good friend Dominic, they are cousins. We got to go on a snowboarding trip to Mammoth where I really got to know him and he is a great dude. I was honored that he chose me as his DJ and I was very excited to meet his bride to be. They complimented each other very well and I complimented their musical tastes. Another great day with great people!

yet another wedding at La Valencia and I am so thankful that I am on their preferred vendors list! Mark and Rosie came to me as a referral and i made sure they were well taken care of.

I have known Lisa for years through the San Diego bar Industry and had met her fiance Phane when they first started dating. When Phane popped the question, there was no question who her DJ was going to be. I have done Darlington House many times and I love the intimacy of the venue. It’s always a pleasure to work in La Jolla.

This was my first time playing at El Cortez and I was loving the old school style of the architecture. The circular banquet room had a big dance floor in the middle and I set up my tables off in a corner and used satellite speakers on the dance floor. Dexter and Tiffany wanted to make sure people were dancing the whole time and for any one who has ever been at a Filipino wedding, that is not hard to do because they love to dance! I love it when all the aunties get in the line and do their Cha Cha or the electric slide. Good times!

Another beautiful ceremony and reception at the MJ House! The sunsets alone make this place an ideal wedding venue but add the massive trees and outside deck, and you have one of my favorite places to be a vendor at. Bobby and Chelsea wanted a delicate mix between music for the older family members and enough new music to keep the younger crowd engaged, which is exactly what they got.

I have worked with Jackie through Destination Concepts Inc, which is a destination management company here in San Diego who frequently hires me for corporate events as well as their personal weddings. Jackie and Luke were looking to have a lot of classic rock and recognizable tunes at on their big day and I obliged. There was no shortage of dance moves on the dance floor from all the guests nor was there a shortage of stiff drinks from the bar.

Who gets married on a Tuesday night? Amy and Carolyn! Who had a hangover on Wednesday? Amy and Carolyn’s friends and family! Haha!

This was my second time doing Mt Woodson Castle and my third wedding within this group of friends. I don’t mind being passed around a group of friends as their preferred wedding Dj, in fact I prefer this type of referral because i am already familiar with the guests and their music tastes. Random fact, this was a night where the moon was in it’s “Blood Moon’ phase. Another random fact, many feet were hurting the next day as well as sore arms form fist pumping and dancing.

This was my first wedding at L’Auberge and my services started on the top deck for dinner. I laid out a couple speakers for full coverage of the deck with a wireless mic for toasts and an iPod for background music. The sunset view was breath taking and the guests were all friends of mine. The dancing reception was held downstairs where I thumped and bumped music for a few hours as the family and friends celebrated.
